Heritage Doors & Floors LTD supply three different grades of oak flooring. Tavern Solid Oak, Rustic Solid Oak & Prime Solid Oak. This traditional oak flooring is long length and is supplied natural/unfinished. We sell a number of oils & waxes (Osmo & Saicos) on the accessories page to finish off your job professionally.
Tavern Grade Solid Oak Flooring
The Tavern GradeAmerican White Oak Flooring is suitable for the older property, the oak boards include small and large knots, cracked knots, colour variation, splits and grub worm holes. This character can be filled by the customer if preferred. The tavern solid oak floor grade when complete looks warm and inviting in rustic pubs, log cabins, old barns, church halls etc.
The tavern grade oak flooring is available in 6" wide oak boards and the lengths are between 2m - 4.3m.
Rustic Grade Solid Oak Flooring
The Rustic Grade American White Oak Flooringmay contain a variation of knots. Some oak boards may contain knots which are quite small, while others may contain larger knots which may require some filling. The overall colour of the rustic oak floor grade is a warm brown but light sapwood and some mineral colours are allowed.
The Heritage Range Rustic Solid Oak Flooring is available in 6 different widths, 4",5",6",7",8" and 9". The rustic grade oak floors are also available in long length from 2.1m to 4.6m.
Prime Grade Solid Oak Flooring
The prime grade American White Oak Flooring shows a faint natural grain pattern and very few small knots. The colour in the prime grade oak floor is a warm brown, less mineral colours are allowed. Prime oak boards may conatin a few thumb nail size knots, whilst other prime oak boards are clear. The overall effect shows a warm pleasing colour with natural close grain patterns. The prime grade oak flooring is available in 4",5",6",7",8" and 9". The Heritage Range supply solid long length oak flooring from 2.1m - 4.6m.
The Heritage Range Solid Oak Flooring is in traditional long lengths. The flooring is delivered as shown in the picture below, so be prepared as this is not on a small pallet ot pre-boxed!
